At its AGM on 28 April, The Society of Facade Engineering (SFE) members appointed Will Stevens to head up the Technical Committee for a further year.
The Technical Committee’s diverse role includes contributing to the development of British Standards, PDs and PASs and other documents; answering members specific questions; and liaising with industry and academia.
The 19-member committee is made up of SFE members within main contractors, specialist facade contractors, academics and consultants.
The Society of Façade Engineering brings together individuals involved in the process of design, supply, installation, testing and operation of building façades to advance the knowledge and practice of facade engineering, promote good practice and ensure that today’s increasingly complex building façades meet the many and varying performance criteria.
