Will Stevens has been reappointed to head up the Technical Committee of the Society of Façade Engineers for a further year – a post he has held since 2019.
The Technical Committee is one of the SFE’s five standing committees. Its role is to:
- gather pertinent issues from members, academia and other institutions
- provide seed funding and facilitate research into relevant topics
- help develop British Standards, PDs and PASs
- respond to members technical queries
- liaise with industry and academia
The Society of Façade Engineering is a worldwide network of professionals that focuses on the design, engineering and construction of building facades. It brings professionals together to advance knowledge and practice in facade engineering, promote good practice and ensure that today’s increasingly complex building façades meet the many and varying performance criteria.
Membership of the Society is open to all those with an interest in facade engineering.
