With a little help from Rolls Royce and their Griffon aero engine, we’ve successfully completed the performance testing of our most recent office facade at the Vinci Technology Centre, enabling the facade to go into full production.
The project (currently on site in Coventry) is a 12-storey commercial office building with a precast concrete facade, incorporating combined framed and SG glazed curtain wall glazing.
The 6m x 4m panels will be pre-assembled off site to improve quality, minimise construction time and reduce waste.
Interface have been involved from the beginning of RIBA stage 3, providing a full facade engineering service to the client’s team.
