Will Stevens presented our Embodied Carbon Design Tool to an audience at the Zak World of Facades conference on 3rd November.
The presentation discussed the innovation of our design tool which assesses embodied carbon in the very early stages of projects. The tool allows better environmental design solutions to be chosen early on in the design process. The key message – “Doing Nothing is Not an Option”. The industry must all focus their efforts on releasing the most accurate environmental data in order for analysis to be the most accurate it can be.
This tool sits within our Tools for Change series, an ongoing research and development project to measure and reduce the embodied carbon in building facades.
