Oliver joined Interface as a graduate facade engineer with a first class integrated Masters in Architectural Engineering Design. Oliver’s degree, encompassing civil engineering, mechanical engineering and architecture, allows a solid background to build upon his knowledge of facade design and construction. Oliver’s degree also focussed on sustainable design, which has proven crucial in his assistance of the development of the company’s environmental databases with an aim of reducing carbon in construction.

Oliver’s broad engineering knowledge has been put into practice during his time working on our landmark office building in Paddington where he is carrying out reviews of the cladding contractor’s drawings and analysis, as well as attending site regularly to review the cladding systems as they are installed. Oliver is also working on its neighbour building, a 366-room hotel, from its current early design stage through to construction. The project will enable him to continue to build upon his knowledge to form a sound understanding of the complete facade design process, from start to finish.

Working at Interface, Oliver wishes to further develop his passion for and knowledge of facade engineering and further expand his range of skills within the discipline.
