Interface are pleased to be shortlisted for a Façade 2022 Design and Engineering award for our work on The Dumont, a Thameside tower block development in Battersea,

The Dumont is arranged into four offset elements, progressively stepped to reach 30 storeys in height. Designed by David Walker Architects and delivered by EPR Architects, Interface acted as facade consultants from developed concept design through to completion of the facade.

Relaunched after a two-year hiatus, the Façade 2022 Design and Engineering Awards recognise and reward excellence and achievements in our industry.

Seven new build projects from across the world have been shortlisted, from the United Arab Emirates, Lithuania, Italy, USA, Turkey as well as the United Kingdom (see the shortlist).

Chris Macey, Chair of the Society for Façade Engineering (SFE) Judging Committee said:

“The level of interest both across the world and from the UK reflects the wider recognition of the importance of the science of façade engineering, its contribution to the built environment and the fundamental role that facades now play in buildings achieving their carbon targets and building sustainability objectives.”

The winner will be announced on 3 November 2022.
