Interface are continuing towards our company goal to be a leading member of the facade profession and industry.
We are pleased to announce the successful application of Zara Edwards as ‘Member’ of the Society of Facade Engineering and of Will Stevens as ‘Fellow’ of the Society of Facade Engineering.
Interface hosted David Metcalfe, the new head of the Centre for Window and Cladding Technology, at our offices and gave him an introduction into our previous and ongoing work. We presented the detailed work carried out on 62 Buckingham Gate, including the system and detailed design process, and our review of the cladding contractor drawings and the structural and thermal analysis from Lindner Facades.
We also discussed project specific testing, the manufacture and installation process and the monitoring role we carried out. We introduced David to the Stage D work being carried out on No.1 and No.6 Merchant Square, as well as the tendering process on 1 New Street Square.
