50 Eastbourne Terrace
Significant office development in Paddington
50 Eastbourne Terrace, located in a prime position adjacent to Paddington railway station, will provide office space with restaurant and retail at ground level.
The facades are designed to respond to the rhythm and texture of the Victorian architecture of the adjacent buildings by utilising a depth and rhythm to the facades. This is captured by the use of vertical and horizontal reconstituted stone framing and ribbed terracotta spandrel panels in combination with a unitised curtain wall system.
As part of the scheme, to the rear of Eastbourne Terrace, seven townhouses sit along Chilworth Mews. These will have brick facades and a standing seam zinc roof.
Interface were involved in the development from the beginning of Stage 3 Developed Design, and continued their role through to construction. The project completed in 2023.
